"Slug" He was loved by so many and left this world tragically. We'll all remember Si "slug" as a friendly guy, a great friend with a big heart with his wonderful witty sense of humor, his cheeky smile and for his love of life to the very end.
The last time I met Si he wanted to put this song (Eva Cassidy-songbird) on the juke box. He kept going on about how much he loved this song and Eva Cassidy.
Si also talked about his job as a police officer, he was really proud of what he had achieved.
Si told us about what would be his last family holiday with his mum, dad and brother telling us how much he enjoyed it.
He was a huge wolves fan too but unfortunately the wolves weren't listed in the theme options for this page, West Bromwich albion was though so I can imagine what he'd have to say about that! (I didn't dare put wba as the theme!)

Si... you really are one of the most amazing blokes that i have ever and will ever meet! you have such a nature about you that i have found in nobody else!
i have so many memories of you that put a huge smile on my face!! thats what you always did... when ever i needed you... without a second thought u were there...whether it was a ear to listen...or a good giggle!
you will never be forgotton and will remain in my heart for ever and always. there will always be a special place for you!
life is so unfair and unkind and leaves us all wanting many questions answered. but unfortunalty they cant be... and for that we just have to be extreamly greatful to have you in our lives for the time we all did.
there isnt a day that goes by that i dont think of you and remember you..

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.
This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.
So I said to the Lord,
"You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during
the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one
set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most,
you have not been there for me?"
The Lord replied,
"The times when you have
seen only one set of footprints in the sand,
is when I carried you."
